I RUN OUT OF STEAM AND WAS DESPERATE

Life Story

Life is not fair but gracious… Life will hand over to you the most difficult challenges for you to survive. A determination to beat the odds in life will give you, your greatest achievement.

MARRIED TO A FOREIGNER
Father of 2 boys and 1 girl, a lovely wife and mother but she was a foreigner. In any country for a foreigner to get a job is a difficult task and even if one gets sometimes he or she is handled unfairly with trust issues, especially when he or she does not have a residence permit. My wife’s countrymen are generally not trusted in my country and most cases brand fraudsters.

I work hard to put food on the table for my family and also do other aside jobs just make sure my kids gets a good education and lack no basic necessities of life.

LIVING ON THE EDGE
For 6 years, I have been living on the edge… I never wanted to be in a long-distance relationship but increasingly it seems that is the only option for me and my family… We have been living every month with hand to mouth… My financial situation was so bad I could not sustain my family going forward in my country as my kid’s school fees and living costs were way above my salary even though am gainfully employed.

DESPERATE!
At this point in my life, I have run out of “Steam” and am desperate to survive. I have to start life from ground zero. Put things right because the man was not growing younger, old age us catching up and all I could thing about was what shelter do I leave for my kids.

RENT IS DUE
What even propelled all this was my 2-year apartment rent was due and i needed to raise another 2 years payment and I simply did not have it. I was confused, disheartened and lost.

SEPARATION
My Wife and I talk through all our options, separating to different countries for a while to pursue work to raise enough funds to raise our kids…Cos increasingly working honestly in my country has become difficult and did not want to enter anything dishonest to get income.

NEW BEGINNING
Fast forward…to cut down on expenses I moved my family back to my wife’s country and I moved into a smaller uncompleted apartment and started life all over again. Each day I try to make progress for myself… Learning and developing my skills as a creative designer.

MY INTRODUCTION TO STEEMIT
My new life started on well with a good friend introducing me to Steemit. I signed up and received my confirmation in two weeks’ time. And here I am becoming a content creator to share my life with the world.

Life still goes on but this time with a determination to turn things around, to be the best I can be, to love and to share.

LESSON OF LIVE

  1. Find inner peace with your creator
  2. Accept who you are. You are unique. No two persons on this face of the earth are and will ever be like you.
  3. Be Generous in sharing and giving…it will always come back to you.
This is my story and it has just begun.
